Game Rules

Point System:
The Top Goal Scorer:
The correct Top Scorer will give you for each goal that he scored 1 point. (Total amount of possible points approx.: 4 to 7). If 2 or more people guessed the correct top goal scorer so all of them will get the points for that bet (1 point per goal ). The Top Goalscorer is not necessary the Golden Boot. We dont look on assists or games played, we just look at the amount of goals. if 2 have the same amount of goals then all the players who guessed one of these two will get points.

In the Groupphase you can get up to 3 points for each game. (Total amount of possible points: 144)

• 1 point for the correct guess of 1,2 or X 
• 1 point for the correct goal difference 
• 1 point for the correct goal result

At the Knockout Stage you can get up to 6 points for each game. (Total amount of possible points: 96)

• 2 point for the correct guess of 1,2 or X after 90 minutes
• If your guess was 1or 2 then you can win 2 points for the correct goal difference after 90 minutes. If your guess was X then you can win 2 points for the correct OA, OB, PA or PB (see below). 
• 2 point for the correct goal result after 90 minutes 

Ranking:

If 2 or more people have the same amount of points, e.g. Player 1 and Player 2 have both 34 Points,

1. then the player with more 6 pointers (full points per game during k.o. phase) will be ranked higher.
2. if they are still the same then the player who scored more points at the k.o. phase will be ranked higher.
3. if they are still the same, then the player who scored more points at the Final will be ranked higher.
4. if they are still the same, then the one who´s top goal scorer scored more goals will be ranked higher.
5. Higher Ranked player will be decided by draw.

Group Stage:
download the file and for each game (48 games) of the group stage you have to fill out the result that you think this game will end with, additional we also have the Top Scorer Bet, fill out the name of your guess of the top scorer for the whole tournament. The filename is wcgame_gs_yourname.xls, please rename the file and put your name instead of "yourname".

Group Stage Winner:
This year we added another Prize for the group stage winner, who will receive 5 % of the total Pot. In the event of a draw, i e. two or more people have the same score after the group stage, the winner will be determined by the following rule(s):

1. the player with more 3 pointers (full points per game during group stage phase) will be ranked higher.
2. If players have an equal amount of 3 pointers, the 5% prize will be split evenly 

Knockout Stage:
there will be another file for each of the Knock out Stages (16 games). Here you will have to write your guess for the games after 90 minutes and if its a draw add a

OA for Overtime Team A will win or
OB for Overtime Team B will win or
PA for Penalty Shooting Team A will win or
PB  for Penalty Shooting Team B will win
